So... I bought this based on one of the 1 Star reviews. The lady was complaining that it wasn't a "pizza cutter" it was too big, too heavy, and it was a weapon. WELL. YEP, that pretty much sold me on it. Ordered one immediately. She was right....except....IT's Freakin' Awesome. Any Warrior or Shield Maiden will be proud to to strike down pizza's and slay BBQ!The only issue I foresee is with the leather wrapping, it isn't removable...so that could be challenging for cleaning. If it proves to be too difficult I will remove and laser engrave an appropriate grip pattern in the handle and then clear coat.

You're getting a very unique murder weapon (JKJK) but seriously it's very sharp. For close-quarters hand-to-hand combat, you'd have an advantage. The blade was super sharp, the tips SUPER pointy-sharp, and the polished-slick handles made of rosewood were spectacular. For the price? What a value. Auctioned it off at my Family Reunion & made a good haul.
It’s more than what I expected, and it cuts a lot more than pizza very comfortable in the hand. I love the workmanship of the blade and the handle nicely done. I’ll be back for more stuff.
“IF” you are looking for a junk axe DON’T buy this one! This thing is fantastic! It’s heavy duty, thick steel, and absolutely gorgeous. I’m so impressed with this thing. What an amazing work of art. There are minor tweaks. I mean minor tweaks. Otherwise, I noticed from the time that I bought my olivewood handle one there were three choices of wood handle. The Rosewood has sold out. If you like this even a little bit, don’t wait. It won’t disappoint.
