Good product for the money. Very good value.
I like to slice two skinless boneless chicken breasts at the same time, with my current knives it is hard to get 1/4" thin slices, so the resulting thicker chicken slices do not cooking quickly/evenly in a sauté pan. This cleaver makes it so easy to cut thin slices, just place edge on the chicken breasts, then gently push down and slide back and forth once (for 2 chicken breasts side-by-side). Really sharp edge, so need to be careful. Perfect weight, balance, and fit for my large hands, and wood handle is nice. They say to coat with cooking oil to prevent rusting, but it appears to be high quality stainless steel, so it does not look like it would rust easily. I clean just the bottom 2" of the blade with a soapy sponge, rinse and dry off, and for now carefully wipe sharp edge with a little cooking oil in a downward motion.
