got this item and can't wait to open the package, it wrap the oil , and the knife feel heavy and handle is good, a real one.

I can't speak to the knifes survival/tracker functionality. I didn't purchase it to baton wood or skin deer and I highly doubt most buyers did. Whether or not someones wearing this on the campout, this is very much a 'guy' purchase. It's the kind of thing you see on the shelf with the samaurai sword in the man cave. That being said, it's far from being a prop and is obviously a very functional item if need be. Heavy. The handle is smooth and looks handmade. The sheath is beautifully done and along with the damascus pattern, give it the cool factor. It came reasonably sharp with a layer of oil to protect the blade. It looks to be much more expensive than what it is. For the price tag, it's very impressive.
